Acid Visions 1986 font family is a set of three mesmerizing original layered free fonts designed by Damien Gosset. The strange font gives off a digital aesthetic, by utilizing a mix of futuristic and geometric elements. Visually dynamic, each font is presented in the author’s work in independent yet harmonious ways. The peculiar name of the font probably comes from the ability of the layers to pronounce an optical illusion effect. Although not easy to master, with some experimenting, you’ll create a logotype or wordmark of unprecedented bold presence and high visual impact.
As the typography comes in three different font styles, the smartest way to use them is in combination. But of course, you can try each one by itself to see what it can do alone. Use cases of the font include graphic elements for CDs as well as posters for retro/vintage-inspired evening and disco parties. The characters are also suitable for video intros, especially those used for online streaming platforms or YouTube.
The font is free for personal use only. Contact the authors for information regarding other types of use and commercial licenses necessary.
