Asteristico font family is a free informal font inspired by comic lettering styles. It contains only two fonts designed by Petsoskijonathan. The text design font is slightly organic, dynamic, and energetic. Despite looking casual or simple, every letter of the typeface looks interesting and creative.
Use Asteristico for your comic projects, cartoons, children’s book covers, and other books, packaging, posters, and more casual printed design uses. On screen, the font is suitable for various web projects such as blogs and websites.

Asterstico is a digital type inspired by vernacular design, created for an academic work at UFPR (Federal University of Paran). The references used for the types are the urban hand lettering signs found in the City of Curitiba-PR/Brazil.
