Broken Poster font family by Fontry is a free vintage display font that comes with 6 different styles. The alphabet is unique and gives a nod to retro roadside signs, lettering on movie posters, and hand-painted promotions of yesteryear. The style and look of these fonts are achieved by using rough outlines and rough distressing within the edges of the letters. That, along with the slightly uneven letter width, heights, and roundings, made the font pop with energy.
There are various ways a designer can choose to use the font. As with other fonts that have a strong personality, it is best to be used in larger sizes and for shorter texts, for example on logos and branding, product packaging, posters, magazine covers and titles, apparel designs, t-shirts, labels, and occasional invitations.
This font family is a free font and free for personal use. For commercial projects, check the font file for details about the full licensed commercial version.
