Kids Future: A Font Created by Kids to Keep Them in School
Guatemala is one of the Latin American countries with one of the highest percentages of illiteracy, with at least 18% of the population being illiterate. The lack of economic resources is the main reason why kids don't go to school or drop out early on.
We worked with a group of first graders who are already part of the Common Hope program. Each one of them created an alphabet. After the selection, retouching, and digitizing process, the result was Kids Future: a distinctive, beautiful children's font.
Every donation to this project helps a kid to go to school or helps another stay in it. With Kids Future, we are rewriting the future of thousands of kids.
