Description
Korneuburg Slab font family by Flö Rastbichler unbridles a free font with true contemporary class. This serif collection is beautiful and elegant, with a clean main uppercase set, and ornamental reserved lowercase. It bases its geometric composition on harmonious character curves and strong wide lines. The structure leans heavily towards the simplicity of a minimal slab design and an all capitals typesetting for effortless readability.
For personal projects, this font can be enjoyable to use in packaging, visual identity, logos, advertising collateral, or book covers. Website design, editorial content, and product design represent further worthwhile attempts.

Author's note
Korneuburg Slab is a text font family with character and great legibility. It was created as a semester project at New Design University, St. Pölten, Austria. Korneuburg Slab is based on Korneuburg Display, a display/headline font created in 2011, which was influenced by the neoclassicist city of Korneuburg in Lower Austria and especially the forms of its multiple archways.
Korneuburg Slab retains those typical forms but focuses on great legibility, even in small sizes.
