Author's note
Bayannur is a typeface inspired by Arabic Calligraphy in the Chinese Tradition. This font has extensive Latin script support, as well as Cyrillic and Arabic. The glyphs in this font specifically support Uyghur script typing.
The designer, Abdurrahman Hanif, is currently studying Arabic Calligraphy in the Chinese tradition with Haji Noor Deen and is trying to develop this font as his appreciation for this beautiful Art of Calligraphy.
