Quincento is a free font inspired by Art Deco, characterized by its use of verticals and geometric shapes. The design process originated from ideas that were initially left out of the Goldroom family project. Rather than complicating an existing design, Quincento emerged with its unique identity. This all-caps display font alternates between elegant thin curves and sharp 90-degree angles, making it versatile for various designs. Rounded corners can be introduced in certain instances by alternating between upper and lower case letters or using alternate glyphs. Tall and nostalgic, Quincento captures the decorative style that flourished during the roaring twenties, making it ideal for retro posters, restaurant logos, or Gatsby-themed invitations.
Quincento features both basic and extended Latin characters, punctuation, kerning, and alternates. Be sure to check the glyph map for a complete list of supported characters. The demo version includes only basic characters. The full version is available for personal use for a fee of $50 via PayPal, or you can obtain a commercial license.
