Sliced AB font by Alex Banks is a techno display free font with a unique and futuristic style. Its structured and geometric construction yields a modern design that is perfect for sophisticated non-serious projects. Each letter is in an uppercase form, and every word the font displays splits each of the characters in two, placing half of it at the top edge and half on the bottom edge of the line.
This font is a great use for any title or logotype design for books, magazines, movies, or even video games. It can also be used as a display font in posters, banners, and general visual identity projects.
Free for personal use only. To use the font commercially, make a donation.
Sliced AB was created a number of years ago and shared through DeviantArt. Since then, the creator has wanted to expand on the existing basic font set and include further characters, multilingual support, and adapt some of the letters with better kerning and overall make a better font. The original edition has achieved well over 250,000 downloads, and although the creator will never expect the new version to hit those staggering heights, they hope many will pick up this revision as well.
The font was created with a modern technical feel and a 45-degree angle. It is designed primarily as a headline-style font but will also work as body text.
The font is shared as free for personal and commercial use with open donations. The license is contained in the download file.
The creator encourages users to donate what they think is fair as a thank you. The time to develop a full typeface, test, and release is extensive, and this helps support the development of more fonts.
If users are wanting to use any typeface(s) for commercial purposes and are making a profit, the creator suggests considering a donation, though they won't make users feel guilty if they don't do this (but they should).
The creator thanks users for taking the time to enjoy their work.
