Words Taken font family is a free retro typeface created by 177Studio, presented with 2 font styles. Inspired by retro typography, it has a bold and nostalgic appearance that will set the look and feel of its context. Designed keeping the spirit of the 70s in mind, it is perfectly suitable for artwork referencing this era. Although no additional layers are present, the stroked outlines give the impression of 3D block shadows and depth, or engraved-like effects.

Although Words Taken offers a more or less specific character, it can be used in multiple contexts and see some success. The best results will occur when it is part of digital artwork, animations, comics, video games, posters, covers, and similar graphic art.
