Galette is a contemporary all-purpose sans-serif font designed for both print and online use, ensuring consistent quality and legibility across mediums. It was created from the ground up for clear and uniform display on computer screens, addressing the limitations of traditional fonts.
Unlike some fonts, Galette does not use overhangs, and the stroke thickness of both capital and lowercase letters is identical, resulting in smoother hinting and anti-aliasing at any size or zoom level. This attention to detail enhances the font's readability and predictability.
The font's Art Nouveau influence adds an expressive and individualistic character, which can be further accentuated through the use of alternative capital letters. Additionally, Galette offers a generous complement of accented characters, enabling multilingual use across Western, Eastern European, Baltic, and Turkish languages.
