In the early 70s, I used to have inexpensive radios and tape recorders, some of which were made in the former East Germany. They featured simple logos that I adored, inspiring me to create a font reminiscent of that style. After two days of dedicated work, I developed Kroegbainder, a modern display typeface that captures the essence of that era when the Eastern Bloc was still in existence.
