Description
Modern Typewriter font is an exceptional typewriter font by Lukas Krakora. It is a free font, exclusively suitable for personal use. The font strives to convey that mechanical typewriter feel – a feeling of technology and craftsmanship. Its design immediately brings to mind the typewriters from around the late 19th and early 20th centuries – the introduction of the first typewriters and the activities they were associated with (journalism, literary writing, office work, etc.)
That’s why Modern Typewriter is a strong contender in designs inspired by journalism or detective works, even comics. It can also be used to imitate a bureaucracy look (in birth certificates and passport papers) or simply the old fashioned literary works and publications. Book designers wanting to combine professionalism with a nostalgic feel will also find this font useful.
