Very Very Punk font by Tup Wanders is a distorted and eroded typeface capturing the raw essence of punk. This free font embodies a gritty, urban vibe, bursting with energy and non-conformist spirit. Its chaotic and edgy design is dynamic and bold, making it stand out in any creative project. It’s an eclectic mixture of rebellious expressions waiting to bring life to your work.
Perfect for album covers, gig posters, streetwear branding, skateboarding graphics, zines, rebellious youth magazines, urban-themed websites, punk-inspired logos, DIY fliers, and social media campaigns, it offers a distinctive touch.
Enjoy this font as it comes with a public domain license suitable for personal and commercial use.
Yessir! Another free, open source font!
I became a punk at the end of 1976 when I was a 16-year-old with lots of pimples and problems. I was convinced I was genuinely changing the world for the better. Most of the other punks I met were older, but they were always friendly and full of energy. For the following decades, my punk friends became a substantial part of my life, and they continue to be so today.
At 65, I still play guitar in a punk band with friends from that early punk era. You can find us on all streaming platforms.
I wanted to create a font that embodies punk elements and aesthetics, while also reflecting the obnoxious traits of the subculture. You never know what might happen—the words can get twisted, and your cursor may get lost!
In the end, I believe I captured a true portrait of punk in the shape of this unique font.
The font comes with a small booklet that includes all the ligatures and explains the parts and samples included.
Like me, the font itself is quite substantial. It has almost 600 characters, weighing in at about 3.74 MB, with many characters focusing on graphic elements.
I've added some extra chaos by coding and creating outlandish ligatures for you to discover.
Please let me know your thoughts! I had a lot of fun creating this font.
If you would like the booklet as a print file, feel free to reach out!
